| Nanny here. The benefit to having other sitters is that if nanny goes on vacation or calls in sick, it can be nice to have a stable of familiar backup sitters. If you have local grandparents or flexible jobs then your arrangement has no real downsides, esp. since you are offering <40 hours in a typical week. If you do decide to look at other sitters I would check first to see if nanny actually needs that extra income. |
