Technically the question was "what do". I'm guessing Mom didn't go to Yale. |
Typo + autocorrect. Mom did go to Yale |
| There’s no harm in asking if there is a need that is not being met. A long time ago, I was accepted ED to Penn. My parents struggled to afford it and, every year, asked Penn if they could increase my aid to help close the gap. And for my first three years, Penn increased its grants by a few thousand dollars. (They did not do so my senior year.) It wasn’t much more aid, but it definitely helped. My parents’ negotiations, however, were based on their need (which Penn probably thought they were meeting with their original aid package). |
No because Ivies do not offer merit aid and you do not qualify for financial... |
Mom went to Yale yet needs and qualifies for aid? Grim. |
| Be smarter or at least clever. |
| Is this a serious question? |
If you think an Ivy degree is just for the $$, that's "grim" indeed. I went to HYP, and I barely make enough to live on. Grim? I'm in a very low-paid profession. I don't care about making money, and I never have. I didn't choose a college based on how much money I would make after going there. Your post is just sad. |
Yes, sorry. Wasn't thinking. |
| Its possible to get into Penn and Yale at this point by Penn ED and Yale EA. This may not be a troll |
Yale is SCEA,you cannot apply ED to other schools. |
And, is in at Penn ED, other apps should have been withdrawn per ED agreement. |
We already established it is a troll whose mom went to Yale and currently works in a low paid profession. |
