They should be prosecuted. It's against the law. |
But her emails… Lock her up, etc. Republicans routinely accuse Democrats of imaginary crimes and then openly commit crimes in full confidence that they are above the law because law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges all are heavily biased in their favor. |

Trump on Pelosi ripping up his SOTU speech, which he considered to be illegal because it was an official document, around 31 seconds in. |
|
Republicans now have rules for everyone else, but not for themselves.
And, they love having a president who acts like a mob boss. |
This is a joke, right? We’re supposed to think the Trump knows the law? |
I'm sure it's not illegal for the Speaker of the House to rip up a copy of the President's speech that was provided to her as a courtesy. It's not an official document. |
|
It's all annoying: how many years and dollars did we spend investigating Hilary's emails?
Based on this and the way Trump acted about those silly emails, shouldn't he be hung for treason? |
Yeah, a copy (of someone else’s speech!) isn’t an official document, but the point is that Trump had been told enough times that he couldn’t rip things up because they have to be preserved, that he thought he was calling Pelosi out…while he continued to mishandle actual original documents. |
I can’t wait for these documents to be made public, the “love letters” with dictators, the idiotic things Trump wrote down. |
I imagine most presidents aren’t making edits with tracked changes. If they write a comment or edit a document by hand, that becomes a record that must be preserved. |
It’s almost like every accusation is a projection. |
