The crime ridden streets of Chevy Chase. Look - there's a robber baron!

It’s a less than 5 minute train ride from Bethesda when the Purple Line opens. And it is a few steps from a bike path that you will be able to use to bike to Bethesda or Georgetown.

Granted, you’ll have to wait until 2026 until the Purple Line opens to take advantage of all of this.

The people who dwell in effortless elegance have cars and won’t ride the purple line. That’s not weightlessness. Jeez. It will be nice for the home health aides though.

Love this location it is two blocks from the Audubon society 40 acres of beauty. It’s 10 minutes from Meadowbrook Stables Office where we ride. It’s right next to all the trails for rock Creek Park where we bike and run I love it so much.
Just hoping retail shops and restaurants are good when this is finally finished

How close is this to the Purple line? Some of the new construction around there is right up against the tracks.

The odds of good shops and restaurants is slim to none. Rents will be so high they can only attract banks and Chipotle.

Einstein Bros. Bagels and Manoli Canoli are also across the street.

Ritz-Carlton is part of a three-building complex. It's in the building furthest from the tracks.

Yes, this area seems like an odd choice. When I first read the OP’s title I assumed it would be between Friendship Heights and Bethesda.

The condo plat for "Chevy Chase Lake Master Condominium" was filed in October 2018. Ritz-Carlton Chevy Chase was announced in October 2020. So it's more like Ritz-Carlton put their brand on part of an existing project, rather than looking for a development site.

How much are they? The marketing brochure doesn’t say.

Similar condos on River Road near Potomac/Bethesda border those folks stay in their gated compound away from us lower caste folks. I don’t think it matters walking distance

Are you drifting in a swell of amenities? Are you feeling lightened? Are you ready to own endless tranquility? If not, you’re not ready to know the price.

So true…and thanks for the laugh.

“To live at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Chevy Chase is to embrace the beauty of living gracefully. To dwell in effortless elegance. To thrive in a swell of thoughtful amenities, vibrant community, and legendary service—and in it to find a weightlessness. An endless tranquility that’s yours to own.”
