Yeah I was wondering if maybe OP thinks an electric shaver is electrolysis, it’s a bridge too far to think she wants to permanently remove her kid’s mustache lol |
|
He can shave now. He might decide after if going for stronger method.
It doesn't really make it thicker btw, but people shave because it's already getting thicker, then it keeps thickening, it's not shaving that does it (:. |
| My DS has used an electric shaver since 4th grade. It takes 2 mins. Don't make a mountain out of a molehill. |

13 yo DD shaves once per month or once every other month. We bought him a razor about a year ago and my husband offered to show him how to use it but he said he didn’t need help. And he didn’t.
The hair on his upper lip bothers us more than him so we don’t say anything. He often leaves it so we let him be. |
| What? Have him shave it of course, he's almost 13 (unless he wants to keep it..) Some of these posts recently - sheesh....! |
My 13yo uses a similar, highly recommended Braun model |
| Asian guys look horrible with mustaches, that’s why many don’t have any. I can’t blame OP. |
That's subjective, not with beard I think, depending on the beard and traits. Not bad to share an impression but it could be stereotyping if too broad, but all ok (: |
Nothing wrong to post something light in a sea of posts. No drama I agree, but the first time can be a delicate moment for boys or girl and can be emotional as you sorta have to continue once started. Is it only on mustache for now, nothing on say sideburns or neck yet? |
You don’t get permanent hair removal to a boy’s face for a mustache growing (which is what electrolysis is). WTH kind of question is this? |
People- remember this is true for girls too. Not everyone wants to remove their body hair. Don't make girls feel ashamed of hair in armpits, on legs/face/pubes. Don't make them ashamed of their changing bodies. |
