Can smaller eyes be more beautiful for some women?

Do you think more deep-set = better? I'm trying to understand what you mean by flounder, haha.

Aren't flounders flat, with one eye on each flat side?

Definitely! I think small eyes can lend a very sexy feline or fox-like look that is really sultry and works for many women. Taylor swift and Jennifer Lawrence come to mind.

My MIL has small eyes but was always considered the prettiest in her family. She is very striking and pretty, wearing very little make up. I don't think small eyes always look bad or that large eyes are always better. It's often about the balance and proportion of features.

large eyes tend to approve appearance because they draw attention from likely flaws elsewhere. but as others have pointed out, it's hardly a guarantee of anything. eyes that are too close together are the biggest problem which can't be fixed. but eyes can also be too far apart.

Hers are on the small side but she was unquestionably gorgeous before the surgery.

This actress (plays violet on great Amazon Prime show) Sue Ann Pien has smaller eyes I think and is also unquestionably gorgeous.

Sometimes they look smaller because they are hooded. Definitely sexy.

Yes, and their eyes protrude. I don't know if their eyes are deep-set or not.

DP. PP's opinion certainly isn't shared by everyone. Some famous women who many view as beautiful have small eyes.

I disagree. I don't find her gorgeous at all, and it's not about the eyes or her choice in her husband.

I think people with larger eyes often appear more trustworthy or attractive simply because it's easier to "read" their faces.

But I don't always think makeup tricks to make someone's eyes appear larger always work. Some faces take eye makeup better than others, and it can look really heavy and over-the-top on some faces. It just depends on your coloring.

I don't think so. True, I'm in part one of those most people can be beatiful to an extent school of thought, though not to an extreme but I think it's subjective. And many people find some smaller eyed women very attractive.
I can give it that wide doe eye might suggest "innocence" at first glance, but wears off quickly depending on the person .

While smaller eyes might appear sultry and misterious.
Lots of women indeed line their waterline with pencil eyeliner which makes eyes smaller (:.
