Not sure I am happy with the private college angle. Taxpayer money doesn’t need to flow to Liberty University for this, for example.

We’ll see if this actually happens. It sounds like what he hopes to do (to the extent he’s defined it at all) is outside the scope of what the law actually allows right now for lab schools, and he’s hoping to get funding that hasn’t actually been allocated yet. So basically a nice idea, but far from developed. Hopefully he follows through and commits to ensuring the lab schools provide quality programming rather than leaving it at a press release or letting it turn into crappy for-profit schools.

Yes, his plan would allow for for-profit groups to operate lab schools. It’s not a conspiracy theory.

If you really want to keep all our kids captive to the existing public school systems, could you at least pretend that your goal is to offer a superior product? Because you all have made it very clear for years that our kids exist primarily as the foils for your own fiefdoms and “equity” gibberish.
