We make wraps with chunks of the salmon and other less slimy fillings to offset the salmon.
Also, my kids like soy based sauces like teriyaki. |

| Kids' tastes change. Mine will eat pretty much anything but not all the time. Starting in K, my oldest started hating tomatoes. Now she loves them again and asks for them in her lunch. Don't force it and I bet he'll come around in a few months. |
This sounds good! Do you cook the salmon or is it with smoked salmon? Recipe? Does anyone have a good recipe for salmon cakes? Do you start with canned salmon? |

| Salmon cakes, salmon salad (like tuna salad with mayo, dill and capers), smoked salmon — but I also don’t think you should force it. There are things that I will never eat again (like liver) because I was “encouraged “ to eat them as a kid. |

It’s actually pretty hard to get a big dose of the most beneficial omega 3 without salmon. Shrimp has like 1/10th the amount, if even. |
Flax has Omega 3 as well. I put it in smoothies and in yogurt and oatmeal. Take a break from salmon. |

Flax doesn’t have the kind of omegas that are associated with the health benefits of salmon. Not OP and agree you shouldn’t force kids to eat something they’re rejecting, just saying. Flax is not truly a substitute. |
