Shout out to the Smart Restart crew for getting N95’s out to APS faculty/staff/bus drivers, etc.

Aww. Your kids are little snowflakes - just like their parents.

You people will literally find anything to complain about.

So now the haters are against giving free masks to teachers so teachers have a chance to stay healthy, stay in school and teach your kids. You'd rather teachers get sick? And then schools may have to close?

That’s what APS is giving to students and staff, upon request. Smart Restart is doing just as much as the school district itself. Kudos to them! Even though I don’t agree with them on everything, I appreciate them doing something tangible to improve safety for staff. More than APE seems to be doing.

Smart Restart gave 75 for our entire school. The PRA ended up buying the rest of what’s needed. Not sure that will be in the budget for some PTAs…

How many teachers do you have?

If you're really a teacher (not an APE troll), and you're not going to use it yourself, then then why not give this mask to another staff member? Many really want them.

That's how I read it. The "COVID FOR EVERYONE" team accuses Smart Restart of wanting to close schools while Smart Restart is helping teachers and students stay healthy so schools can stay...wait for it....OPEN! Maybe one element of long COVID is decreased brain function.

Pretty sure Smart Restart is just one person.

That one person is getting a lot done. More than all the angry bro dads from APE put together.

Oh, STFU. It’s more than APE has done. A lot more.

Imagine if we could harness all of that raw bro rage? We could solve big issues like world hungry.

What's APE doing? Going to the press to try to pressure APS to dumb down safety standards in schools that will probably lead to closures. Whining about 3 days of lost sports practice time. And still trying to convince us all Covid is just a cold despite sky high hospitalizations.

Actually, yes. It’s all fine and good for our elementary school because we have the budget to supplement SR’s effort to meet actual need. What about schools with PTAs that can’t afford to do that? Do their teachers, staff and students just not matter as much? This was a token feel-good effort by SR, but wasn’t designed to meet the actual needs of people at risk.

Sounds like you should help SR with fundraising.

75 could cover all/most teachers for a week. That is better than nothing.
