| The main thing is we received one. I mean, of course I have been buying my own masks because that is what everyone has been doing during this whole thing. I appreciate the mask MCPS gave me, although I guess it's possibly counterfeit. However, it's ONE DISPOSABLE mask. |

| I just read an article that 60% of the kn95 masks tested did not meet filtration standards. So it’s possible. |

I’m as pissed at MCPS as everyone else is, but they’re not putting people at risk. People who were already wearing legit N95, KN95 or KF94 masks aren’t the ones who needed a mask from MCPS, and people who have been wearing inadequate masks are no worse off with yet another inadequate mask. There’s no way MCPS could get enough certified respirator masks for the whole district on short notice. |
