Golly, that sure is kind of you to say - *Troll* - but them are the facts. There are plans to distro the tests tomorrow for students and why not ensure kids get them in hand before the weekend?

That’s for still-open schools in red zone. My note said they’ll send them out on Monday if they are closed tomorrow.

I guess it's always good to have a plan!

So Federal government is closed for tomorrow for the Washington DC region but MCPS can’t make up their mind until tomorrow morning.

I bet they change it to closed all day.

G'night. Alarm set for 5am.

Many other workers have to go in regardless of the weather. Why would school administrators be any different?

Federal government is closed tomorrow. Every other county including DC and VA schools has said they are closed. Why is MCPS acting so uppity?
Especially with Covid rates going through the roof. Is Monifa dumb?

Hoping to save a snow day.

When it busts, all the rest of the school systems will whine about how MCPS opened.

Ah, sorry, I wasn’t really trying to troll you, just joking around a little about MCPS - MCPS isn’t really having a week of stellar logic and clarity. Your school earnestly making distribution plans for tomorrow in no way undercuts the likelihood of central office calling school closures tomorrow.

Is any school district in this country having “a week of stellar logic and clarity” this week?

I’m an FCPS parent and I’d kill for my kid to be in school tomorrow. I’m a fed and I work in person (no telework allowed) and I’d LOVE a day home when my kid goes to school. I occasionally got those when I lived in DC, and I’m going to miss it.

Why are you abbreviating distribute?

Um, the federal government closed for tomorrow. You're so edgy.
