Something along the lines of…. He’s twice held back and is technically a Junior, but made the decision last year that he wouldn’t be playing his senior year (next year) and will instead play professionally overseas the year before college to prepare. |
|
He turned 19 years of age in September of this Fall.
He is too old to play in the IAC after this Spring hence the gap year between college |
| Another public school commit in NOVA from Dominion HS to Drexel. |
|
good for him... what club program does he play for?
Is the former PVI kid who is committed to Rutgers at Dominion or Battlefield HS? |
| The Drexel commits plays for VLC 2023. The Rutgers commit is a 2022 that transferred to Patriot HS. |
PVI also added a BU commit this fall at attack to replace the Rutgers comitt so all good in eastern Loudoun. |
| Prep has many more talented 2023 players who are being looked at by colleges. Whether they end up going D1 or D3, there will be many more commits in the next 12 months. |

Asking this group for some feedback. Can anyone tell me, of the top club programs, how many of those committed kids were held back?
Program - # committee - #held-back Thank you! |
| I'd say close to 80% of the Mad Lac DC DAWGS is kids who were held back once or even twice. |
DCD - 15 - 9 NL - 10 - 5 VLC - 7 - 0 DCX - 3 - 1 Feel free to update/adjust |
I think VLC had the most on age and also most are public school I think. |
| DCD has 18 D1 commits and 1 D3 commit and 2 other players who usually guest for them that are also D1. |
| NL does not have 10 commits, they have 7. |
