| What schools in the IAC and WCAC have the best 2023 classes so far with recruiting? I’ve heard so far that Georgetown Prep and Landon have the best ones. Who else? |
| It is no secret just go to IL. Not that many kids yet committed in the ‘23 class in the DMV. One VA public has as many as some top private schools. Also several schools ahead of Landon |
Landon 23 class only has 2 commits. Rankings would go like; 1. Prep 2. Bullis 3. SJC 4. Landon 5. PVI 6. Albans 7. Gonzaga 8. Heights 9. DeMatha 10. Episcopal |
Albans PVI and Gonzaga all have more than Landon. This is not an opinion this is a fact. No need to “rank” the information is public. Landon and Lake Braddock each have two but Lake Braddock has top ranked schools. |

I'm pretty plugged into the local lax scene and I know of two Landon 23's getting some serious Ivy league and NESCAC interest. I expect more to come after this season.
Regardless though, it's no secret to anyone in the club scene Landon's 2023 class is a "weak class" for their standards. The Bears 2024 and 2025 classes look quite promising as does Bullis 2025 class. Side note, I wasn't aware that Bullis has a 2023 kid committed to Princeton. |
Someone else give him the storytime on Bullis/Princeton 23’. I’m too lazy |
|
| Based on the previous post there are 20 2023 commits between four HS programs and 11 for all other schools. I think there are two at DMV public schools all of the players are from four local clubs. Are there any other 2023 commits? It seems to be a small number compared to girls commits but definitely supports the notion that it is easier from private school. Any Loudoun public schools with players comitted? |
This really isn’t a 2023 commit, it’s a 2022 commit who is taking a gap year. Right? He doesn’t count as a 2023 commit and he doesn’t play for DCE 2023 or Bullis’ 2023 class. |
| This means Bullis only has 4 commits in 2023 class. |
Ok so Prep has 6 PVI has 5 Bullis and Zaga have 4 and SJC and STA each have three. Landon still only has two. It is what it is. |
