Missed 3 periods. Figured menapause more likely but why the stomach issues? I am almost too embarrassed to buy a pregnancy test. And googled it’s less than 1% chance.
Have two kids so wasn’t even in my thoughts for 10 years. But while I was on this board about a kid issues thought I would get sanity check.

OP- don't want to scare you , but any woman in her 50's who starts noticing bloated and GI complaints should go to your GYN immediately and not for a PG test , but for an CA / ovarian screening.

go immediately

OP, I am 52 and currently right at the cusp of menopause. Had my last miscarriage at 49 after two years of irregular periods. But it happened really fast. Maybe 6 weeks. Pregnancy at this age can happen though it usually ends quickly.

That said, it sounds like you could also be in perimenopause, which for some of us, is really hard. It has completely wrecked my body after decades of very good health. Spiking blood pressure, etc. I had no idea what can go wrong during this time in a woman's life and was completely unprepared for it. I strongly urge you to go to your doctor ASAP and get a check-up. There's a lot you're going to need to monitor now.

Best wishes.
