Check every hour or so. They do release new times all day long. Early in the pandemic I would keep my cart ready to go check during the night when my baby woke up to breastfeed. I almost always got a slot at some point that way. And buy enough for a few “backup meals” in case it’s equally hard to get a slot next time, will give you a few days’ grace period to get one.

I just keep refreshing every every 7 min that seems to be when they update. Typically after about 3-5 times of refreshing I get a slot.

This. Slots get added throughout the day, so keep trying. Size of order does not matter I do not think, the pulling/packing and delivery are 2 different services. Pro tip, if it is past your time window and no updates/texts, call the store and see what the sitch is. Once I had groceries reshelved when expected drivers did not show, sucked but better to know. They said to try to avoid last slot of day if possible for this reason - no time to fix it.

Good luck and happy eating, OP. Since delivery is not free anymore I think you will get something if you keep trying. Esp around this time of day I have seen slots added.

DC’s daily COVID case rates are now > 6x the previous peak back in jan 2021. Omicron is highly contagious and spreads faster/earlier/during asymptomatic phase.
