So youll be fine if all the teachers go to NYE parties and get mild covid and cant teach for a week+ and kids have to be home because there are no subs?

Masks help as well. OP. Is spreading false info. if this were true, we’d have literally no available health care workers as they are exposed everyday. This is a made up post.

No, I wouldn’t. Not worth it to have to quarantine for twenty days while you pass the virus around at home.

Us too, but it is immediate family only. All of us have have two shots plus booster. We have a sizeable family, but honestly, the idea of mingling with strangers is no bueno to me.

I’m boosted and just got my younger two kids vaccinated. I’m going ahead with parties now - that’s why we got vaccinated - so we could do these things.

Go skiiing and cancel the parties. I can’t imagine who would show up at the parties right now anyway.

If Covid is going to be here forever, anyway than do we can parties every year, stop living etc? I’m just asking because lots of you tend to think we’ll just learn to live with it.

We would not attend or throw an indoor party.

Yeah no. No indoor gathering for us. I am not scared of getting seriously ill but I don’t want to be isolated for 10 days and my kids to miss school.

We went to an indoor Thanksgiving and then a memorial service and got exposed to covid so we canceled all indoor group Christmas plans. Simply not worth the worry with two small kids.

It’s going to be a game changer when little kids can be vaccinated.

There are currently multiple posts on several threads by either bored trolls or Covid-deniers who urge others to catch Omicron. This is highly irresponsible because we are putting our hospitals under strain.

Chemo patients are risking their lives when surgeries and treatments are canceled, as they have been recently in our area. Same for other medically important procedures that others are waiting on. We all benefit from a functional healthcare system.

Please report any post that encourages risky behavior.

Exactly. If we get it now, it’s so mild and we might as well get it now and get it over with since we will all get it eventually.
