What did you get your pet for Christmas?

But the real gift is they get to continue living with me after I had to spend 30 minutes listening to them lick and grunt as they licked up the peanut butter. So nasty.

I love the little grunting noises my dog makes.
Does it make a difference that she’s a seven pound toy poodle?

A week at the dog spa. The kennel gave all the dogs in residence a special Christmas meal.

Oh that’s so cute. When I go away I send my dog to the “spa” too. The dogs have a huge fenced outdoor area to play in and a cozy little house. Judging by the pictures they all love it.

Our two cats got a new bed, toys, cat treats and cat nip bubbles. I was happy they were napping together in the new bed. Plus the Amazon box they found to play in. Best Christmas so far.

For the dog:

a self-cleaning dog brush (so excited to try it out but it's raining nonstop here in Los Angeles)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PG9SDYS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and
leftover salmon in caper sauce

For the cockatiel (he's a small parrot):

Bird backpack to take him when we go hiking

and
cuttlebone holder (better than the metal things that always come off and then I never replace)

You'd be surprised how many people throw a half eaten turkey outside and it doesn't even end up in the trash. This has happened 3 years, all different addresses within a block of where I live. One year she found one by someone's garage that was still in its disposable foil roaster.

She tried to get away with her turkey several times before I managed to approach her very, very slowly and was able to grab her and get rid of the turkey.

Someone once said “You never realize how much chicken is just lying around on the street until you get a dog”. It’s so true.

omg yes. I'm sure every dog I've had thinks of walks as going out for fast food.

Me too. I've never had Beef Wellington, it looks good. Your dog is lucky.
