The QUALITY of this flip is subpar. Everything is the cheapest thing on the market. The margins for the flipper were tight and they did not spend much money on the finishes. |
Wow, I bought in MR in the early 2000's, an 8 bedroom, 3 full bath house for under $200K. It was a much rougher neighborhood back then, but now it's really nice and there are so many families with kids the same age as mine. MRE is a good school that we are very happy with and has great teachers. Neighbors here are very close, it's like living in a small town where everyone always waves at you, even if they don't know you. Not looking to move any time soon, but am curious what my house may be worth.
Whoever renovated that house must have been European, where they tend to have the washer/dryer in the kitchen. I wouldn't like that personally. |
It’s almost like they are trying to convince you that the flip doesn’t suck, but it’s clear they know it does:
A great home restored by a very attentive contractor w/ thirty years of happy buyers. Look close at the attentive restored Craftsman-style home, with original newly polished , gleaming wooden floors, and selected rooms that feature recessed lighting! Renovated by an experienced and honorable renovator! |
LOL that they are European. It’s just because they planned poorly. |
It's a terrible flip. It's desperation at this point. It went for over asking, I believe. |
Never mind, went for asking, was thinking about a different house. |
It's common in Europe to have the washer and dryer in the kitchen |
Right. But not here. |
Yeah. That’s not what this is. |
Meh, I wouldn’t mind it for myself. |
Most people do not want laundry in their kitchens. In a mudroom space? yes. On the bedroom floor? Yes. Kitchen? No way. Laundryrooms always are full of clothes and messy. No way would I want that in my kitchen. |
+1 the idea of dirty laundry in my kitchen is gross |
I had a washer / dryer in my kitchen when I lived in a tiny studio apartment. In a 4 BR house? No thanks. |
When I bought in Mount Rainier 6 or so years ago, the most expensive home sold for $400k. Today's market is crazy! |
Wow, wish I could afford to buy there now ![]() |
