You didn’t bother to look at it when you got the executed copy? How long ago was it created? Standard now is to create an electronic version to send to all parties, not just a hard copy that can get lost or damaged.

Did he have an associate, partner or sell the practice to someone? They would have it in their chron or files by name and date


+1. Files don't just disappear when an attorney dies. There's requirements when this happensm

Preserve the part you have of your copy carefully. It’s evidence that the rest of the document exists.
