Silly question about frozen peas

I boil water in the electric kettle and pour boiling water over the peas in a Pyrex or similar bowl, let it sit for a minute, and then drain and serve.

Me, too. This is the perfect way to keep them sweet. It works well if you're serving with pasta, you can just put frozen peas into a bowl under the colander to catch the hot salted pasta water when you drain the noodles. Then you drain the peas.

That’s a great idea!! I usually put some in a small bowl, add 1/2 bowl of water and cover with a microwave cover. Cook 30 - 60 seconds depending on amount. Let it sit for 1 minute and then drain.
