3rd grade or 2nd grade? |
Not PP, but my kid is in 3rd and it showed up in SIS this morning. |

Verbal: 129 Quantitative: 141 Non-Verbal: 133 Composite: 141 NNAT: 119 In Pool Scores received in backpack today. |
| Anyone with cogat composite of more than 145? I think that’s rare! |
| We received the in pool letter on Tuesday but still have not received the actual cogat scores. Spring Hill. |
| Is there such a thing here as a score where you shouldn't have to worry? If so, what would it be? |
You never know, and if someone has high scores without supporting work samples or GBRS, they might not get in. |
| I think if a kid scores 160 (full score) in cogat, that’s the safe score to get in. |
| Our kid got 149 composite- I actually already submitted the parent referral but I’m hoping this is safe. Child needs this program in my opinion. |
| 149 is safe. All the best! |

NNAT 126 CogAT composite 131 verbal 118 nonverbal 135 quantitative 127 not in pool Langley |

NNAT 152
COGAT 146 |
| Hi, no COGAT scores shared, but got email saying that kid is in pool. How safe is that? As in, does being in pool mean it is a 'done deal'? NNAT of 160. |
|
3rd grader:
NNAT: 107 (not in pool last year during virtual, so didn't bother to apply) Cogoat: Composite: 137 Non Verbal: 119 Quantitative: 137 Verbal: 139 Currently excelling in Advanced Math, very driven and kind to others, so I anticipate strong GBRS. Thoughts on getting in based on the lower NNAT and nonverbal scores? |
1/3 of the pool does not get into AAP. Our AART says to submit the parent referral, at a minimum, also so you have a paragraph to talk about your kid. |
