And start each day with Rise Up Coffee. The best

LOL. “Summer” in Oxford.

Rise Up is the best though.

Haha summer is totally a verb. Okay, I “spend the summers working in Oxford.” Is that better?

Glad we can agree on Rise Up: whether summering, wintering, springing, or falling.

If this is boring you then you don’t have to respond and can read elsewhere.

OP here - thanks for the recommendations. My kids are 11 and 15 (although he has special needs and mostly likes to take walks). We do lots of hiking or going to places he can roam. Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge sounds awesome and so does the Harriet Tubman museum. I’ve heard the Msritime Museum in St Michaels is fun.

You are very close to Annapolis too.

You could walk the grounds of the Navel Academy, go to shops, grab a bite to eat, look at boats.

Last winter we went to the Tubman museum right before Christmas and did part of the Underground Railroad driving tour. (It goes all the way up to Philadelphia but there are plenty of stops on the Eastern Shore). Highly recommend both.

The light show at Sandy Point is fun for an evening activity. There’s also a nice shopping area with a Target, Kohls, Michaels in case you need essentials or just need an indoor place to walk around.
