Another vote for these. However, you really should get your gait tested at a running shoe store.

I laugh at people that wear these. OC people are great at marketing crap.

I have to agree with this

Another vote for the Ghost. I started back at Ghost 6.

Saucony Rides. I've been wearing them for years now. My wide, overpronating feet love them! Agree with others to go to a running store and have the professionals there fit you, though.

I am one of the few serious runners who wear Nikes. I wore the structure model forever, and now the react. They work for my feet. I use orthotics, have a fairly large bunion on both feet, navicular tenderness and a narrow heel. I have tried pretty much every brand since people are always telling me something else would be better, and always return to nike because they work for me.

Yep. Been wearing ASICS for a long time. Good for narrow to medium width, good arch support, can tie the laces to make the shoe hug the heel. Provides good stability, too. I run 25-30 miles over 4 days a week and use for other activities. Replace approximately 6-9 months. 53 yo.

If you are a bit heavier and just starting out running walking, the New Balance 990 is an excellent shoe for impact and stability.

Go online to the running company and you’ll find more

I'm wearing Brooks Glycerins (the 18s, I think) right now as my main shoe. Used to really like the NB 1080 but the last few versions have been kind of strange.

I'm not a speedy runner by any means but I like to have a heavier, cushioned shoe and a lighter shoe in rotation when I'm in a serious running cycle (I've gone up to a half marathon in distance). One shoe I haven't seen mentioned here, if you're looking for something lighter, is the Skechers Go Run Ride. The Skechers running shoes are actually pretty decent, and they're more reasonably priced than most "serious" running shoes.

I adore the Brooks Hyperion Tempo! It's lightweight with good cushioning for it's weight. And as others have said, get fitted at a running store and tell them what you are looking for in a shoe.

Hoka Bondi - I was getting a lot of knee pain until I started running in these. Can't run in anything else now.

Another Brooks Ghost fan. I have wide feet and high arches and they're great.

I ordered these and a Saucony guide to compare

Me too! I bought a really cool pair last year designed by the Japanese label AFFIX.
