The ICC is operated by the MTA.

Jawando? Sounds like a star wars character.

He said he was too busy working on police reform to have time to renew his registration and pay his fines. I'm not making this up.

That bethesda beat article seems off. Jawando asked for the trial, rather than pay his fines. He has discussed this incident in Council hearings about police reform and repeatedly said he was pulled over for the expired registration tabs. And he was mad about that because of the moratorium Hogan had placed on renewals during covid. Everybody knows he was pulled over for talking on a cell phone, but he never mentioned that part.

And what 30-something person pays by check anymore?

I don't believe anything he's saying.

Kevin Lewis loves going after Latinos and Blacks

Kevin Lewis is so incredibly racist in his reporting.

My friend was arrested and he called him and was like "sorry to bother you but I have to report some white crime, people say I'm racist."

Cool story, bro.

Is there something in particular about the WJLA article that is racist?

I know him. This does not surprise me at all. Before it was all about how he is just like Obama, trying to ride the coattails off someone else’s success as though they are one and the same. That, and his blatant inappropriate comments about my breast. Sorry, not sorry. Guy is full of himself.

Interesting. I heard he gives off a creep vibe to women. I haven't seen that personally, but you aren't the first person to say something like that. I'm sorry that happened to you.

Thank you. I appreciate this.

I hope someone asks, publicly, at the meeting.

He paid before it was actually suspended.

If you read the article, it states clearly that he claims the check was literally lost in the mail, which is the second worst excuse after “dog ate my homework” and could offer no proof.

His story is transparently ridiculous. The fact that he can offer no proof beyond his word is all you need to know.

The truth here is much more banal.

He was angry for getting pulled over because he thinks he’s a big shot councilmember.

He decided to make a big deal of it and request a hearing instead of paying a small fine so he coins grandstand.

Because he’s another MC council liberal incompetent, he didn’t bother to attend the hearing because he stopped caring once the issue lost salience. Probably tossed the court notices in the trash.

He in fact did not handle it. His license wouldn’t be suspended if he actually did handle it.

LOL

Jawando is such a self-centered, self-serving clown.

He really is. I went to look at his website today, just to see what his stances were on various issues, and he's got NOTHING on there about issues. But a ton of stuff about HIM.

LOL.

This is why MC is in trouble.
