let's not shame people for feeling anxious! it's already stressful enough dealing with infertility and an expensive procedure that has lots of uncertainty.

A quick shower is totally fine! Aside from following your RE's protocol, there isn't much you can do to affect the success of the embryo transfer. I understand the anxiety, though. I felt the same way after my embryo transfers.
