Ha! You’re so invested in being right about a pro club sport hardly anyone in the US cares about. We all watch the USWNT every few years and that’s it. We don’t watch the NWSL unless our daughter played soccer or we are a lesbian and are in love with one of the players. Let Europe have their pro sport. We’ll stick with ours and if we like soccer we will watch EPL and UCL not second rate MLS or NWSL. If a US player is really good and in their prime they’ll either play in Europe or play here close to home. Their choice. Not sure why you care so much about the USWNT no longer being the great team. Did your kid almost but not quite make it or something? |

When I read this statement I thought why you were surprised since the best American is Pulisic. Then I realized you were talking about women's soccer, and not sure why you would be surprised there aren't any any women players in the running. I can't think of one women American player off the top of my head. |

| The women's Ballon D'or is short on history and like the men's award is is a Euro-club-centric award and popularity contest . Remember Kerr only came in ninth in 2018 for the voting and 7th in 2019 despite dominating NWSL. Now she finished 3rd that she is now with Chelsea. |

While your assertion is true you ignore that this nova community (and elsewhere) knows that Loudoun is an unethical club that laughs about keeping people’s money in exchange for a tax deduction (try not to laugh) and FCV is a boutique club for gals who steals players from other clubs? anons dixit |
