11 months for my son. He actually napped more total I think, just one long one.
13 months for older kid, 10 months for younger kid
12 Months bc he started taking a long time to fall asleep for both naps which were both already capped at 1hr each to keep bedtime at 8pm. And he started waking up earlier and wasn’t getting enough night sleep anymore. It was for sure a much harder transition though than when we dropped to 2 naps so I wonder if we should have held onto two for a month or two longer than we did.
We’re dropping down to one nap for 14 month old tomorrow. She’s been taking shorter and shorter naps and having a hard time falling asleep. But I’m mostly doing it to hit her older siblings drop off and pick up from preschool at 2PM without having to wake her up or rush her (she likes cuddles after a nap) or having her fall asleep in the car.
Around 15 months. I prefer it because it’s one nice long nap!
All three of my kids dropped one nap by their first birthday, and stopped napping completely by their second birthday. My Mom said it was Karma, since I did the same thing.

12 months both kids
Bedtime sleep deteriorating (bedtime drifting back). Not cranky. |
12 months or so, nudged along by starting daycare where there was only one nap in the toddler class. Major sign was she suddenly would not sleep the full length of both naps. One would be short.
