When did Your child drop to 1 nap/day

When did your child drop from 2 to 1 nap a day? What were the signs they were ready?

15 months for both kids.

Able to stay awake until 10:30am. Once we got there, we worked to keep them awake until 11:15am. No car rides, no stroller or anything where they could doze off.

Had lunch ready to go at 11:15am. Then got them changed and in the crib. Gradually adjusted the lunch time to 11:30am.

Napped for at least 2 hours. Bedtime was between 6:30-7pm.

13 months. Took longer to fall asleep for morning nap. If they had a morning nap, then getting them down for afternoon nap was more challenging. Ended up doing quick 30 -45 minute naps in the morning until they were fully ready to drop the morning one for good.

First kid 11 months, second kid 13 months. For both, consistently not falling asleep during the second nap, and often taking a bit to fall asleep during the first nap.

Op.

Thanks! That is earlier than I expected, but my DS2 is 13 and showing signs. DS1 didn’t drop his morning nap until 19 months so I wasn’t sure if I was reading the signs from DS2 correctly. Basically DS2’s morning nap has been pushed from 9 to 10 for several days in a row, and then yesterday it took him 2 hours to fall asleep for his afternoon nap.

15 mos. bedtime started getting later with the 2 naps. Do we switched to one and went back to a 730/8pm bedtime. At first the nap was 11-2ish but then gradually we made it later, took about a month I think to push from starting it at 11 to starting it at 1.

13 months is definitely typical. 19 months is pretty late.

First was 15 months
Second was 13 months because that is when she moved from the infant room at daycare..third is 13 months and not showing signs of dropping. She can totally skip the nap when needed but then needs longer later nap

17 months because we made him for a new daycare. I have heard second will drop nap earlier than first.
