DH said the same about his On Clouds. They’re great everyday casual shoes but not good for working out. |

About ON
It’s unfair to say “On are not good for working out”. They have at least different styles, so unless you’ve tried all of them, you should not make that claim. I went to a running store and was fitted for several styles of ON. One style was perfect but they didn’t have the colorway I preferred so I bought another one - cloud flow Went home and walked around for about 30 min indoors - also did jump squats, pretend jumping rope, side planks, elevated burpees, etc. but that style didn’t work as well for me as I expected. I felt there was not enough support for my foot. So the next day I went to another location (same store) which had more color options in the recommended style. I ended up with the On Cloud X training shoe and they are great for me. I feel they hug my feet and that I can jump higher and longer (probably not true). I wear a 1/2 size smaller in these (and Cloud flow) than in my trusty Brooks Adrenaline. The cloudswift size was the same as Brooks. These were more cushion/arch support so fit tighter and I had to go with larger size. |
| Saucony Freedom 4 is a good one. I've been using this one and like it pretty well. |
I agree. The basic On Cloud Running shoe is just a casual shoe, not good for HIIT/running. For running I've tried: Cloudflow, Cloudswift, and Cloudflyers. The Cloudswift has been my favorite so far. I like a lightweight running shoe, I don't need a lot of structure. But I don't wear my running shoes to HIIT classes, different activities require different shoes. I'm still looking for a good HIIT shoe. I bought the Nike Metcon 7 and really dislike them. Feels like my feet have two inflexible cinder blocks attached to them. |
A PP that hates on. I tried the Cloud x and could swift and found them both cheap and subpar for HIIT. The cloud swift might be ok for running |

All the coaches at my HIIT gym wear No Bull. I ordered a pair a couple months ago and love them.

| At the gym, No Bulll 100%. At home, I work out barefoot for everything except barbell work. Plyo, HIIT, kickboxing--all cardio and dumbbell training is no show Barefoot feels more natural and comfortable to me. Been doing this for 10 years, going on 50 now, and all my joints are so grateful. |
No Bull = Zero lateral support. Performing side lunges - my foot literally touched slide past the sole and touched the ground. |
My No Bulls shredded to bits at the foot flex points. Cool colors etc but they need a few more years of feedback and research. |
| I wear APL techloom tracer and bliss. Have several pairs. Love them. |
| I like my Merrell Trail Gloves. There's no lateral support and not much cushion. It's a lot like going barefoot but with some protection so your feet don't get blistered. I think they're good for staying nimble and giving feedback through your feet -- encouraging you to land lightly when you jump around. |
Feel the exact same way. |
I like York much more than no bull. But the yorks also lack significant lateral support. |

OP here. I’ve bought the Saucony Kinvara 12 and very happy
with them. Very lightweight and flexible but still padded and supportive |
Which nobull shoe did you buy and where? |
