I did this last thanksgiving. Put it in garage fridge to thaw Sunday night and didn’t check on it til Thursday morning. It was solid as a rock. |

Cook, freeze, or brine before the 23rd then. |

| If the turkey has been refrigerated and there are no openings/tears in the wrap (you would know by the juices leaking from the package) you should be fine cooking by the sell date. Obviously, if the turkey smells/looks off, don’t use it. |
