Tips on conceiving a boy?

| It kind of makes me sad that some people are so focused on having boys. What's wrong with having a girl? Why are boys so much more interesting and valuable? Sigh. |

I have a girl and REALLY want another girl with my current pregnancy... and for that matter, i really dont have girlfriends who would prefer boys... just men wanting boys and women wanting girls. natural i think |

Some people are just as focused on having girls. I don't think it's one-sided. |

How do you have a boy? Who can say? Those who have boys can tell you what they did, but it's 50/50 anyway. However we had sex to have a boy was the same way we had sex to have a girl, since we are having boy/girl twins.
Focus less on trying to have a boy and just try to get pregnant and then have a healthy pregnancy. God will decide if you get a boy or girl. |

Why assume that's why they want a boy? Maybe they have three girls already and want to add a boy to their family? Or for that matter, maybe they have one girl and now want a boy. This doesn't have to be some big political or sociological statement. |

I can almost NEVER think of a time where I have heard a couple say they want a girl. Maybe you know some, but I don't. I can't think of one. Usually it is "we want a boy - we just can't deal with a girl." Pisses me off. It does. |

| my brother in law really wanted a girl first time (got one) and now really wants a girl again. i really wanted a girl too my DH didn't care. Now for #2 neither of us care. I think it goes both ways. |

EVERYONE I know how has expressed a preference to me says that they want a girl. I can't think of anyone who told me that they were trying for or hoping for a boy. Frankly, as a mom of 2 boys it pisses me off. Don't assume your experiences are universal. |

Wow....it's pretty heated in here....
I have 2 girls, 7 and 3 and I would like a boy, we just started TTC, so I will be trying whatever methods are suggested. |

Everyone I know also wants a girl -- I don't know anyone who wants a boy. I desperately wanted a girl during my pregnancy, and when I found out I was having a boy, I was a little bit sad. Now that he's here, though (he's a month old), I would never trade him for anything else- I think he's the cutest thing in the entire world!

| I have a little boy and now I wish I had four boys!!! They're harder in some ways than a girl IMO but my sis in law with three girls tells me girls are harder. Nomatter what we get, they're all blessings! |
