On 2 acres? On 200 its a tacky mansion, on 2 its a McMansion |
There are like 5 of these homes, nearly identical crammed onto a culdesac facing each other. |
| This house is truly terrible. I mean really awful. But at 22,000 SF, I think it’s a mansion. When I think of McM, I think more of the 4000-6000 SF mass-produced homes. |
| It’s in between. It’s in Sugarland Run in Herndon, right near Sterling, so it’s in McMansion territory. But the size is too big for one. I also knew it was going to to have multiple kitchens, and I can tell you that they’re not cooking in that show one. |
| Who are the 250 people who favorited this monstrosity???? |
| Nothing Mc about this. It’s big so a mansion |
| It’s not a McMansion, it’s just a big ugly house. |
| Once I saw "Herndon" I knew the answer |
Big argues for Mc status. This is bulk over quality -- the fact that its HVAC system is a heat pump tells me they put money towards what's easily seen/quantified rather than what makes a house a pleasure to live in. There are no charming details of craftsman ship, no pleasant surprises that you come to appreciate over the years. It's just a bigass house with a lotta rooms. |
| But is it a Designer home? If so, where does the stepson’s cat pee? |
A closet room just for kimonos? Seems pretty cool.
|
| It used to be a 2,000 SF home, but the neighborhood got moved to Langley and the house decided it needed to be 22,000 SF instead. |
| It's a Mansion McMansionface and it is hideous in every way. |
Haha I was absolutely cringing through all the pics then got to this one and was like, okay, maybe they’re onto something. |
| McM X 1,000 !!!! UGLY!!!!! |
