5 days a week but only for 3 hours a day.

WTF?

The parents are the a$$holes. They’re taking advantage of you and they absolutely should be paying you. That they whined about bedtime is another red flag that they absolutely take you for granted and they’re jerks.

WTF. You should be paid $225 a week for that. You're missing over $10,000 a year in income. Which, if the parents can't afford it and you don't mind helping, great and that's very kind of you. But if they're just being cheap, you should stop letting them take advantage of you.

You do bedtimes and mornings, every day? I hope the parents are falling over themselves thanking you.

Like others have said, as a free babysitter they should be doing everything they possibly can to accommodate you. The bedtime thing is an easy one and totally reasonable on your part.

Separately, they are taking advantage of you. Helping out family is one thing, but doing bedtime and mornings every week day is way too much work and commitment to not be paid.

No. Plus you are doing this for free. Ungrateful parents. I would stop helping them. You do not get to complain about free childcare.

This. Please stop doing this unless they pay you SOMETHING. You are not a doormat.

OP has serious self-esteem issues. Or are these parents compensating OP by offering some sort of other favors?

OP here, its not the parents that i am trying to help here its their children and the children are actually grateful for me doing so, if it was just a matter of helping the parents i would have quit by now.
