PP you replied to. Thanks for being aware. I agree Bethesda isn't a food destination. Just an easy place to go for locals. |
| We like Wang Dynasty and House of Fong Lin. |
You can stop looking because there isn’t any good Chinese food in Bethesda. And the pizza options are even worse.
|
Dumplings and Beyond in Glover park - DC Da Hong Pao in Logan circle - DC Rockville - bobs Shanghai, and countless others - you can check yelp Asian Bakery in Rockville has very good Chinese baked goods like pineapple bread, jelly roll cakes, etc. it’s in the same shopping center as a great Pho place and Thai restaurant. |
Pp here I also wanted to add Momo’s cafe in palisades has delicious braised pork and other dishes. It’s Taiwanese. |
| City Lights. Free delivery. |
+1000 Q is better than everywhere else. Period |
+1. |
DaMarco has decent pizza. Q is really the only Chinese restaurant we like in Bethesda but I agree that (a) it’s better in person and (b) it’s pricy. And, yeah, neither is our fave in either category — convenience puts them in our rotation. But, hey, who has to always eat the best version of anything? Sometimes good is good enough and nearby (in some sense) is always a constraint. |
Nonsense. Pizzaria da Marco is excellent pizza, and Q is excellent Chinese. |
Such a tiresome, dumb response. |
But umm... it's definitely a true response. All the legit Chinese food is in Rockville or NoVa or some random parts of DC |
Says you, some anonymous rando poster. |
Huge Q fan. |
| And don't forget Wheaton - Full Key for excellent Peking duck; Ren's Ramen for, well, ramen, and lots of good Thai options too. We particularly like Nava Thai. The best thing about Bethesda, in my view, is its proximity to where all the excellent suburban restaurants are in both MD and NoVA (e.g. Four Sisters in Arlington). Oh, and on the ramen front in Besthesda, we did like a recent visit to Zao Stamina Ramen on Wisconsin Ave near the Metro. |
