As an advocate for maternal paid leave, this kind of s*** infuriates me because there are actual good reasons to implement a reasonable paid leave program without resorting to misinformation and falsehoods, like youve done here. You’re the reason we haven’t gotten there yet. There is no country on this earth that offers paid leave for a year. And not many people can afford to take a year of unpaid leave. And the US is the exception when it comes to family support - most countries don’t encourage generations of families to live thousands of miles apart. People depend on their families much more than they do here. Take your misinformation elsewhere, while those of us with actual stats and data do the work. |
