Thoughts - Slowest Times of Day to Vote Tuesday (Arlington)

It’s usually light on a non-Presidential or midterm election. Early voting has been quite crowded, so I think you’re unlikely to run into trouble at any time. It will be dead in the middle of the day.

And we know how upsetting that might be for Youngkin supporters, lolz!

Not a very good spokesperson for McAuliffe ^^. You just look idiotic.

Yeah. I voted Youngkin because I’m tired of race baiting people like you. Most of us are kind people who evaluate others on their merits not their race. Identity politics are ruining our country by dividing people and stoking hatred. I’ve had enough.

I tend to think promising to ban schools from teaching that slavery was bad and had long term consequences is more race-baiting than one anonymous idiot posting nonsense on some board. But keep telling yourself you are kind.

And desperate. With good reason of course.

I really don’t know where each candidate stands, but comments like PPs are making me lean toward Youngkin. This was such a nasty campaign.

This mocking sh*t is why a lot of independents are voting for Youngkin. Grow up. If you're that devoted to being a Democrat, try to make your party and candidates likeable.

Between this and McAuliffe lying last night (he claimed Youngkin had Trump at a rally) and then saying it would be good for him politically if Trump was campaigning even if it's bad for the country, I'm holding my nose and voting for Youngkin. Congrats, you played yourself.

Is there a link you can provide to support this claim? Thank you!

This.

Also if you are so covid-nervous I would have gone to early voting! That's what all my older relatives did.

You can not claim that McAuliffe is unlikable and then claim that Youngkin IS likeable. He will work to restrict women's rights. That alone is enough to keep him out of office because it's 2021 and I can't BELIEVE we're still debating that abortion is healthcare. Which it is.

YMMV but I'm still pandemic cautious so I don't want to be lined up indoors with people who I assume will be unmasked (I'm in an area with tons of young people who are done with the pandemic) but I didn't get my act together early enough to early vote or get a mail in ballot and as the election tightens, I'd like to vote. When do you think polls will be the quietest esp given the work from home posture that most of white collar Arlington still appears to be in?

For what it is worth, everyone at my polling place was wearing a mask this morning. They had a pile of disposable ones too, which led me to believe that they might give you one if you weren't wearing one.

Are you the same person chiming in on every thread about abortions? We get it! You are a single-minded voter. Most of us are not, nor do we believe Youngkin is going to be able to ban abortions if he really wants to or not. Your near obsession with abortions is weird.
