Ever since my friend’s mom was beheaded in a car accident in 5th grade, I’ve always known I will never drive a small car. Better to be in the biggest car. Not PP btw.

Ugly as sin. And the Jeep is made in the USA.

Telluride IS made in USA. Westpoint, GA. and is the #1 mid size 3rd row SUV on edmunds, WSJ, Forbes, Consumer Reports and Kelly Blue Book.

Who cares where the car is made? Although I’d assume it was higher quality if made in Europe or Asia. The Kia is a very handsome SUV…..nice choice.

I care as do other countries that aren't run by idiots, see: Japan, Germany, China's preference for automobiles assembled within their borders.

Do you really think the robotic machines that assemble all cars today know if they’re in Ohio or Korea? The 0’s and 1’s that make up their operating software code don’t care.

There are over 5,000 auto employees in Detroit making this Jeep. It was major news and an accomplishment the mayor ran his re-election on, which he won last night. First new auto plant in Detroit in a couple of decades.

Because some of us support our country and keeping jobs here. To, me the grand Cherokee was very small and not worth the price.

We had a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee (not L edition) AWD rental for 2 weeks this summer while our car was getting bodywork. That thing drank the gas in all types of driving situations. We did a 5 hour, 300 mile road trip one weekend where we had to fill up the tank 7 times!!!

We started out on full (1st filling), had to get gas during the trip when we dipped to near 1/4 tank (filling 2), once we made it to our destination we had to get gas the next morning b/c we were again at 1/4 tank (filling 3), did local site seeing for 2 days and had to fill up again (filling 4), we topped it off before we left time (filling 5), had to stop for gas again during the trip home (filling 6), and then topped it off once back home to be ready for the workweek (lucky #7). This is a trip we make every summer to visit relatives and we have NEVER had to stop for gas on the way there or home like with that car.

We had considered a Jeep before that experience. I could sit in traffic around here and watch the indicator dip as it drank the gas.

The Grand Cherokee L is all new and isn't small -- the L stands for long wheelbase. I think you're confusing it for the current gen Grand Cherokee.

Again, you were driving the current gen Jeep. The L and the 2022 Grand Cherokee, which will arrive in dealers in a few months, are all new. You were driving a 2021 car that is actually 10 years old. It's quite dated. The 2022 is an all new redesign and platform.

I’m calling BS.

By your numbers, 5 fill ups at a 3/4 fill, my calculations would suggest you’re getting something like 4 mpg. A quart of fuel every 5,280 feet. I just don’t believe that.

I am not confused and a Jeep driver. I was talking about the grand cherokee. The L is a much better option.
