| Wow I hadn’t ordered from them recently but now that I see that almost all of our prepared staples are no longer options (turkey lasagne, turkey Bolognese sauce, stewed chicken breast), and the fish selection is minimal, I will cancel my subscription. This is really disappointing. Fresh Direct really carried us through the earlier stages of the pandemic. |
| Their food is a lot less fresh now. They are selling Giant store brands (for more money) and their produce is no longer that great. FD used to be amazing. |

I really hope it stays that way for you guys and the earlier poster about breaking into the NYC market is wrong! It seems like once these great niche business are bought up it’s a race to bottom from there. It was good while it lasted here in DC 😀! I’m assuming they are just running out the clock on the DC market until we all leave. |
| They at least used to be reliable and now no longer even that. Just received a text that 6 of the items from this morning's small-ish order are unavailable, thus ruining much of my dinner planning for the week. Will cancel membership asap. |
| Am I the only one who hoped that Fresh Direct would eventually get better and is disappointed that it has not? My subscription auto renewed earlier this year but I have set it to cancel for good. |

While I bemoan the limited meal kits, I think their service and products are fine. I note that they have a new Express option, which has far fewer choices.

What are you talking about? I just checked and saw all of these options available. See my comment about about selecting standard delivery and not express delivery. |
Back when I posted this they were not available (I searched for them after they were removed from my saved cart). Good to hear that they are back. I did a quick search last month and didn’t see them but May have been in the express mode when i did that. |
