Don't direct them toward different or same activities. Let them pursue what they enjoy (for the most part). If they behave insensitively towards each other, intervene as parents, together. There's no way to completely prevent all manner of teasing or one-upmanship, but you can step in to prevent either one of them from becoming a bully. Good manners towards ones siblings is an important lesson learned.
