I would keep it outside. Some families are still cautious.

My teens are pretty happy hanging out on a deck with friends and they have on hand a frisbie, football, basketball or whatever if they want to be more active.

Most places require masks - just like in school. Winter is coming so eventually outside get togethers aren’t going to be realistic.

Oh shut up!

So no one thinks indoor rock climbing is a good idea?

My son had friends over to hang out at our fire pit. They grilled hot dogs directly in the fire (and agreed that’s the absolute best way to cook a hot dog), s’mores, with a lot of extra marshmallows sacrificed to the fire, etc. they did that a few times last year and enjoyed it.

Ropes course at a place like Sandy Spring Advemture Park. You are required to stay sort of far apart on the courses by design. Perfect for Covid.

I would be fine with earth trex which is not really crowded but more nervous with the place in laurel that is crowded and has more little kids (climb zone?).

The early days of Covid research found heavy breathing was a great way to spread Covid before it became even more easily transmitted. If everyone has to wear masks, I can tell you having done intense workouts in a mask, it's just miserable. So I would not have to decline, my kid would. He read the same info I did and he plays sports and hated wearing a mask for those early on.

Same. That's what we did all last winter. It was a godsend during COVID.
