Not true. Bridge is still there 1/2 the cost of elite. |
| Bridge is no longer an option for U9s and below. The older bridge teams are still together. |
it is true. the exsisting bridge teams can continue but no new ones. so if you were u9 this year- you had to go to elite. |
not with the club but that is a good decision to centralize the entire travel program instead of having the elite run by one group and then the bridge run by the rec program. It was limiting the talent available to the elite teams since bridge coaches would try to keep their best players instead of promoting them to a higher level. I do understand how the bridge teams were important to parents from a cost perspective. Maybe they could bring in some of the coaches on the bridge side that were doing a good job and actually pay them for their hard work. |

it was definitely a smart move on elite side because bridge was cheaper and sometimes more successful then the elite teams.
however, BRYC management is terrible and is not able to deal with the increased team sizes. |

We are new to travel soccer and signed up our oldest daughter for BRYC. The girls are practicing in the dark on the grass fields!!
They have some lights they bought at Home Depot (?) all around but I asked my daughter after practice and she says that it's hard to see the balls. Is this normal? Again, we have no experience with travel soccer so I'm not sure if it's the norm? My husband wants to move her to another club in the spring. Please give us some advice!
Not normal at all . Who is the coach?
This pattern occurred at this time of the year at BRYC the last few years we were there. Just not enough room on the Lit practice fields. BN 's littles get last selection which is the grass. We had a few weeks of dusky/dark play on the grass. In our experience he will move onto the lit field very soon. Ask about using glow balls. (I am not sure how that was done but the balls glowed in the dark). Nearer Halloween, he may do that. Kids had a blast !! |
| Rumor has it the grass fields at Robinson upper will be upgraded to turf and outfitted with lights in the future. |
| Give it 10 years. |
