It was limiting the talent available to the elite teams since bridge coaches would try to keep their best players instead of promoting them to a higher level. I do understand how the bridge teams were important to parents from a cost perspective. Maybe they could bring in some of the coaches on the bridge side that were doing a good job and actually pay them for their hard work.[/quote]
