S/O from both men and women: To wear makeup or not when dating

This doesn’t mean you have to do full-on war paint, but you should get in the habit of accentuating the positive. Makeup lines like Bobbi Brown sell lots of no-makeup makeup products that can give you ideas.

Thanks! I'll check out the Bobbi Brown products. One of the reasons I don't wear makeup is b/c I'm afraid of putting too much chemicals on my skin. But I guess some products are better than others.

PP here. I rarely wear makeup. There are many brands now that are more natural. I use 100% Pure. There are other brands you can look up too. Here is a list of some of them.

A full face is definitely not needed. Especially in your 30s if you have good skin.

But I would do small amount.

I’m 38 and here is what I do most days and what I would do if dating would be no different

-swipe of facial oil to cheekbones.
-some cream blush
-lip stain
-single coat of mascara
-brush and fill in sparse brow areas and use clear gel to keep tamed.

If I have a blemish I’ll conceal it. And for a date I’d add YSL toche eclat to eye corners to brighten

Man here. This is a good idea. Also I'd waer makeup on the first date as it shows you want to look your best.. the same reason you'd dress up for the date.

Only thing I'd caution against is don't use any filters/photoshoping on your photos. It's obvious and looks fake. Also can make the profile seem like you're fake (like literally -- i.e. someone trying to commit fraud).

Not wearking make up does not equal not looking your best or looking like a slob.

Man here. I prefer the natural look over the made-up look almost every time. Plenty of us do... Just be you.
