Saint Albans Lacrosse

For the 2023 commits, what club teams do they play for? That is also an important question to ask.

I know top student athletes who turned down STA or chose not to apply because they preferred the environment and community at other schools. Also know top students/athletes who did not go to STA because their athletic programs are not strong, especially in football, lacrosse, and basketball (among others). Not many future recruits choose to be on a loosing team or in a loosing program. There are tons of very smart, high achieving, and highly motivated athletes at other schools and it’s rather offensive that you suggest only a small number can handle STA’s rigor. This is blatantly false and just puts a spotlight on STA’s narcissism and over inflated sense of self. Another reason some families and kids are turned off and choose not to attend.

WTH is a "loosing" team or program? At least at STA - and I'm sure the other schools mentioned - they teach students how to spell. Can't even with the rest of the post because the insecure PP lost all credibility.

Once can be forgiven as a typo. Twice suggests a broader problem.

Really makes you loose respect.

The 2023 recruits play for DCE Black and Next Level.

Really another STA thread on this forum.

You see enough STA threads on the Independent / private schools thread.

I’ve never met a more arrogant community in my life.

Completely agree, all you have to do is check out the rosters of the top club teams in the area to know St. Albans lacrosse will be at the bottom/middle of the IAC for the next few years at least, pretty easy way to end this silly conversation.

You do understand that it was clearly not a STA parent that started this thread, right? So your post is off base and weird.

Per usual for STA, the arrogance is unbelievable. Not to mention the only retort is about a spelling error in a 30 second post. It's not an essay or thesis, so who cares. Besides, your comeback has more grammatical issues than two typos, so really it's the pot calling the kettle black, but nice try. You can try to muddy the waters or change the subject all you want, but the reality remains the same, STA has a losing program. End of story.

Haters gonna hate on this school.

No one is hating on the school but rather arrogance displayed by the STa community.

What arrogance? No one is claiming that they will win the IAC, just that they are improving as a team. Why does that bother you so much? Your posts reek of insecurity.

Sorry pal but STA loves to taught their finger at their stricter academic standards as the reason on why they can’t compete with their peer schools.

My son is at NESCAC school playing lacrosse, don’t try to tell me he wouldn’t have been able to cut it out at STA.

He chose to attend a rival school in the league as he felt it would offer a better balance between academics and athletics.

It’s on this site and in person. It’s constant. And if you don’t recognize that then you’re ignorant and part of the problem.

I don't know but I got a blowie in the parking lot of a game from a STA mom...I thought she was very nice and not arrogant at all.
