Totally fine for adults.
Not good at all for developing brains. I would not knowingly allow. |
| Absolutely not. |

| Pathetic excuse for parenting. |
| No, but I haven't found a way to stop it either. |

LMAO
From the article linked above: "Recent research suggests that smoking high-potency marijuana every day could increase the chances of developing psychosis by nearly five times compared to people who have never used marijuana.113 T" I don't think anybody here is talking about condoning smoking EVERY DAY. SMH. |

My super strict Asian parents let my sister.
She was allowed to smoke up on the deck a few times a week as long as her grades and test scores were strong. When she first got caught they were furious beyond belief but her response was “would you rather me have a joint in my mouth or a d**k”….my sister never drank or was wild with boys so our parents lived with the pot habit. Their largest fears were bad grades and being a thot so while weed wasn’t celebrated and they weren’t the type of parents to smoke along with kids, they decided it was better. I guess it just depends on your house. Some families are way more sex positive but would flip over weed. Ours was the opposite |
That’s by no means the only study linking cannabis use to increased risk of psychosis in young people. There are also lots of studies about increasing potency being associated with higher risk. I truly could not care less what adults do but you are stupid to minimize the risks to the adolescent brain. |

Where do they buy it?
A lot of weed is laced with Spice/K2 and other drugs that can kill people. I told my teen not to smoke it until her brain is done developing and to buy it legally if she wants to do it. |
This. Plus read up on the amount of pesticides used to grow it. |
Hilarious. Thank you. |
| If you or your child has a psychiatrist ask them if it’s a good idea. Spoiler: it’s not. |
| No, and I would beg my kid to hold off as long as they can. Mental illness like bipolar and schizophrenia runs in our family. I smoked a little in college but when I was 20 had a couple of bad highs that I believe may have triggered a decade of treatment resistant anxiety and depression. The flower, the oils, the concentrates-it's all so strong these days and too easy to overdo. |
The pot of those days doesn't come close to the potency of what is out there now. |
