| DH and I have started taking turns giving each other some "me" time on weekend mornings, and really all I want to do is go somewhere and sit in a comfy chair, curl up, and read a book. Any suggestions on places in Falls Church, Arlington, or Tysons to try? |
| The library. |

I second the public library or maybe some of the bookstores?
Coffee houses are going to be nuts on a weekend morning, unless you're doing your "me" time very very early in the morning. Once the weather is nice, the park would be great! |
| Some of bigger bookstores have nice comfy armchairs to sit in. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing some at the Tysons Corner Borders. |
| The couches in front of Gordon Biersch at Tysons I. |
| the tysons I couches are a great idea. you wouldn't be expected to buy anything! coffeehouse might not be so bad; most folks are probably getting their coffee to go during the morning rush. it just wouldn't be quiet. |
| Stacey's coffee shop on Broad Street in Falls Church. Also, Natalia's on Broad Street. |
Not a bad idea but this spot won't exactly be quiet and relaxing. |
And it's freezing right there because the doors are always opening. |
| Aren't there some comfy chairs in Galleria near the Starbucks in the middle of the mall? Or by the entrance to the Ritz? If not, seems as if there should be! |
| Personally the last place I'd want to hang out for some "me" time reading or relaxing would be at the mall. Especially Tysons, especially on the weekend. Unfortunately, lots of places are very busy on the weekends. I would try the Panera at Merrifield Town Center on Gallows Road, Stacy's in Falls Church, or the Starbucks on the corner of Annandale Rd and 7 in FC in the little strip mall where the Original Pancake House used to be. |

I would try Tysons II...it is not nearly as crowded as Tysons I and there are chairs and little couches in different areas around the mall. (I used to walk around there when my DD was very little.)
Panera is also a great suggestion. Sometimes they even have a fire going but not sure if they will in the morning...either way, you can find a comfy spot to sit, read, and get a breakfast treat. Also, I really like Tysons Pimmit Library on Route 7 in Falls Church. Look towards the edges of the building and there are normally chairs free. |
| Another vote for Natalia's. It's comfy, the coffee is good, and it is a nice place for people watching. |

the upstairs chairs at quincy library.
love it! |
| Another vote for Stacey's in Falls Church. Love it. Great staff, comfy couches. |
