Dude, it's all relative. Unless your on the US youth national team, SOMEONE OR some TEAM is better than you/yours. Also, if a kid is ANY good, they've already played/practiced against those 2010 players. There won't be any surprises.

We still need to wait for the announcement either way from mlsnext.

I’ve not encountered that attitude from parents but I’ve been really surprised at how many top teams are loaded with q1 and q2 birthdates. I never really noticed this until the discussion of age change.

Some parents, especially the higher the team, can be pretty bad, even ones who once were maybe are good at heart -- whether it's raw snootiness OR the frenemy-type who's only interested in learning more about you and what you do to benefit themselves and their kid. It's an outgrowth of the toxic youth sports culture that some clubs seem to foment. The poster might root for comeuppance but ironically the ones she/he wants punished usually are the ones looking for that next angle/edge. Yes, youth soccer, is that dog-eat-dog, sadly.
