NP. Everything I've seen about the crew chief is also sourced to his high school JROTC unit, so I'm guessing they announced it when they heard rather than the military selectively releasing information.

again, "they" did not officially announce anything, families publicly reported their loved ones death and reporters followed up with their own research/digging.

A lot of posters here don't understand that the 67 people who died have families that deserve compassion and that takes precedence over their hateful politicizing of this horrific tragedy. If only there was some national leader who was in charge of offering wisdom and empathy during crises like this.

Likely a nice smart guy, only did 2-3 years of service. That could be a good or bad thing.

Did he go to Yale law school with Vance? Did they overlap or grad around the same year?
