So Kim is an Alcoholic?

Wha??? With all the filming they do on that show the producers surely would have caught Kim drunk ALL.THE.TIME. I don't recall seeing her drunk more than once, maybe twice. But she's an alcoholic? And really Taylor? Confronting her at your party? Ugh. And does anyone else think Adrienne's face is pulled too tight?

Apparently, yes. But if you look at her face and how old she looks for her actual age, it makes sense.

I'm so lost with that NY argument. Don't know who's side to be on. But I have to say that I went off Kyle and Lisa more as the show went on. I think Adrienne's kind of normal (apart from the face).

As far as Taylor and the party: Kim was definitely sandbagged. I did feel bad for her in regards to the situation. And then for Kyle to keep going on about how she wished it had all gone down differently, if Kyle had just walked away and not pursued it wouldn't have been nearly as bad. It was painful to watch the scene as it was very, very real and extremely charged.

Does anyone know why Kim has no money? It is pretty apparent she was married to someone very wealthy.

Kim being an alcoholic makes a lot of sense to me. Something always seemed weird to me about how Kyle would go on and on about how she has helped Kim out, how her mother asked her to take care of Kim, how Kim has "issues". None of it seeed to fit a normal little sister (Kyle) - big sister (Kim) dynamic. But you add alcoholism to the picture, and it makes sense - that's why they talk about her as if she needs a caretaker.

I think Kim has been married three or maybe four times. And she just seems needy. She also needs to come to terms with reality - that she is not in her twenties and acted when she was younger. She seems to live a reality all her own.

Very sad exchange between the two sisters for the whole world to see. Older sister Kathy must be so embarrassed. How good does Mauricio feel about his wife now?

Kim probably has depression, alcohol issues being why she always appears so fragile and weak. After the finale she and Adrienne seem to be the most human of the bunch.

Kyle and Lisa were very likeable when the season started, then Lisa's bizarre attachment to Cedric the freeloader started to make her look weak with poor judgement. And why is she so in love with Kyle being her best friend? Isn't she like 10- 15 years younger than her?

Kyle last night just acted like a cruel out of control witch.

Camille wasn't even at Taylor's party and the group of girls just couldn't stop obsessing about NY. How sad! But makes for good tv. Stay tuned!

I thought the best part of the episode was the scene where the husbands were standing around perplexed about why the girls were fighting. Personally, I think Mauricio (or his Mom) should have stepped in since it ended up being a family feud between Kim and Kyle and he generally seems like a decent, family-oriented person (plus his Mom is a relationship therapist for goodness sakes).

Someone posted on Survivor Sucks about her money situation. I think the bulk of her child support stopped in 2009. That was money that came from her 2nd marriage to a Davis (oil family, as in Brandon Davis who made the infamous "fire crotch" comment about Lindsay Lohan). She was getting something like $24k a month for the 2 kids from that marriage. Now I think she only gets about $24k a year in maintenance since the youngest of those kids is over 18. She's probably not getting anything from the 1st marriage since that kid is older. The 4th kid is under 18, but I don't know if that guy had any money.

Hanging my head in shame that I know this.
