POTUS and FLOTUS have COVID

Just looking at him he seemed to have oxygen issues IMO. He was very pale.

I can't imagine he'll die. He's getting the absolute best care.

Yes, even if he is in fact seriously ill, he's odds of survival are at least 90 percent. But he is also likely to be too sick to work for weeks or even months

Oh BS. That’s some wishful thinking there. If he’s like most people with COVID, he will be absolutely fine.

He is in the hospital. Most people are not hospitalized.

+1. People generally are only hospitalized if they’re showing significant respiratory distress. Either Trump’s symptoms are worse than he’s letting on, or he’s having a complete anxiety meltdown over the diagnosis and wants to be hospitalized even though it’s not medically indicated.

He was hospitalized because his doctor advised him to do so. We know you thrive on drama, but stop spinning fiction.

You are incredibly blind when it comes to Trump. If any body else in the world said, "I'm going to the hospital for a few days" you'd no doubt recognize that that itself is a dramatic event. But because Trump tells you it is nothing to worry about, you think it's nothing.

If Obama was currently president and tested positive for COVID, he would also be whisked away to spend a few days under observation at Walter Reed - and you’d be cheering the abundance of caution shown in his case. The only reason you’re making this into such a huge deal is because it’s Trump. Admit it.

I don't know what planet you live on, but I have never even heard of someone going to the hospital and people "cheering," except for childbirth. And we know Trump isn't pregnant.

Hubris, thy name is Trump.

"You're risking getting it, of course," said Woodward. "The way you move around and have those briefings and deal with people. Are you worried about that?"

"No, I'm not. I don't know why I'm not. I'm not," the President responded.
"Why?" Woodward asked.
"I don't know," Trump said. "I'm just not."

President Trump was spooked after he tested positive for coronavirus and has become increasingly alarmed by his diagnosis as he developed symptoms, like a fever, overnight, according to a person familiar with his reaction.

Where did you read that?

The PP is lying. That wasn’t one of his symptoms at all.

It is on the news. Find new sources if it isn't what you are seeing.

From 15 minutes ago:

The president has a low-grade fever, nasal congestion and a cough, according to two people close to Mr. Trump. He was not planning to transfer his authority to Vice President Mike Pence, according to a White House spokesman, Judd Deere. “The president is in charge,” he said.

I suggest you stop lying.

Not 15 minutes ago, that is from like 5:00 this afternoon.

I’m not sure what your problem is, but let’s start with your inability to read. That was indeed from 15 minutes ago from the time I posted it. Here it is again - 18 minutes ago.

RIGHT NOWThe president has a fever, congestion and a cough, people close to him say, and he will stay at Walter Reed for ‘the next few days.’

DP. The problem is that you are ignoring the rest of the news. If you don't read Twitter, at least look at CNN.

Yes, I did. Some unnamed “advisor”? Forgive me if I’m skeptical about yet another anonymous “source” - especially when CNN/Jim Acosta is behind it.

Seems unlikely.

PP here. I stand corrected!

OMG. We barely saw him and he was wearing a mask. In addition, he recorded himself right before leaving for WR and he looked and sounded normal. You people!

Trump advisor, sorry. About halfway down:

Because Trump advisors are always so truthful.

But PP’s right that it would explain the hospitalization. The article points out it’s very rare for a POTUS to do a hospital overnight.

If we go by what usually happens, every sick leader in history has almost always hid or downplayed their illnesses as much as they could. It's unheard of for a politician to go to the hospital for a non-emergency.

Trump went to Walter Reed because he's short of breath. That symptom is the deciding factor. Mild temperature and coughing can be handled by the medical capacity in the White House (which is why Melania is still in the WH).

He has cardiac issues, and is habitually short of breath, so he's not working with a lot of margin here.

So it's really important that he be monitored in a top notch facility.

(Boris Johnson was hospitalized because of the shortness of breath, too.)

From John Fugulsang’s Twitter:

Well I'm not surprised Trump tested positive for Covid - the guy's in 5 major risk groups!

1) He's elderly
2) He's obese
3) He's got a public sector job
4) He's a person of color
5) He's poor.

Well then just rely on good old fashioned common sense. If he simply suffered from mild flu-like symptoms there would have been no need for him to be hospitalized.

Unnammed advisors said that Hicks had COVID and that Trump was going to Walter Reed before the White House confirmed said it. In this case, those unnamed advisors actually do seem to know something.

He looks pale, because he IS pale. He didn't have his orange on, and that's probably his natural skin color, sans makeup. I'm not saying he doesn't have breathing problems, because I don't expect this WH will be forthright with information, but not on the basis of anything I've seen so far.

I want to know what Trumpsters think of Trump having covid. Is it still a Dem hoax? Is it still NBD?

I confess, I don't know any Trump supporters, so can someone clue me in on what they are saying about this?
